Medicare Prescription Drug Plans are offered by insurance companies and other private companies approved by Medicare. They add coverage to your original Medicare, Medicare Cost Plans, some PFFS Plans and MSA’s.
With a Medicare prescription drug plan you will generally pay less for your prescriptions. After you enroll, you will receive a member card that you use to have your prescriptions filled. You will be responsible for any copayments, coinsurance or deductibles.
If you have limited income and resources, you may get extra help to pay for your
