THE M.A.D.E. DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

 

 What is a M.A.D.E?

M.A.D.E. is short for Manager of Agent Development and Education, and it is a position held by representatives of UnitedHealthcare.

What exactly does a M.A.D.E. do?

The role of a M.A.D.E. is to offer on-site support to agents and agencies in the field.  This support can include but is not limited to one-on-one product trainings, group trainings for agencies, business development ideas, product awareness, compliance questions, sales assistance including on-site seminar assistance and more.

The local M.A.D.E. is there to provide you with as little, or as much support as you need.  The important thing is that you make the decision - we are here to provide you with the accesibility.

Some ideas on general assistance we can provide are:

What are the best market potentials in my area?
How do I conduct a successful seminar?
I want to quickly grow my business, what's the best way?
I would like to start recruiting, what do I do next?
How do I access consumer marketing materials?

 Who has access to M.A.D.E's?

Through your relationship as an independent agent or agency through Network Insurance, you have access to communicate directly with M.A.D.Es throughout the country and in your area.

How do I access the support of a M.A.D.E.?

Contact your Network Insurance Account Executive.  Discuss this opportunity with your representative and they will complete our internal M.A.D.E. OUTREACH FORM.  Once this form is completed, it will be distributed to the local level M.A.D.E who will contact you about the specific information or needs you are looking for.

How do I know I will get the answers or support I need?

When the M.A.D.E receives the Outreach Form, they will immediately contact you.  Once they have made this contact, they will use the Outreach Form to keep all records and notes of your conversations, discussions and/or visits.

This record will be sent back to your Account Executive at Network Insurance so that they can confirm your needs have been met as well as offer any additional information necessary or requested from you.  Because of this, all of your supporting group is equally informed, aware and prepared to serve your needs.
